I joined Citizens Advice Liverpool, as Finance Manager, in July 2019. I was keen to work for the charity because I admire the work that it does and the essential service it provides to the people of Liverpool. I was looking for a role where I could develop my financial management skills and continue to work within the charity sector.
I have a background in financial and operational management for charitable organisations, particularly within the creative industries sector. Highlights include working for young people’s theatre company 20 Stories High, and the creative education charity, Curious Minds.
From 2018 to 2021, I was a Director at Sensory Swim & Health Merseyside CIC, an organisation that provides swimming lessons and therapy to people with neurodevelopmental and physical disabilities.
